Assign R.O. Page

Now that the services have been sold, use the Assign R.O. page to assign the service advisor and select various customer options.

Select the options on this page. Note that:

  • Priority defaults to 0.
  • Promise Time is mandatory and can only be set to a time and date in the future. Total labor hours are used to calculate the earliest promise time. It will be automatically re-calculated when the RO is pushed in case there has been a delay between this page and completion.
  • Only the Transportation options enabled for the selected advisor's department and service timeslot are available for selection. The default is "Own ride".
    • If enabled for the dealer, the transportation option limit (set in Appointment Manager Administration) can be exceeded. A warning appears, but the option is still available.
  • Service Advisor is not copied from the appointment source. Only advisors who are assigned to a department via Appointment Manager Administration can be selected for the RO on this page. The dealer administrator should ensure that each advisor is available for an RO by assigning them to a department even if the department has been setup with no available hours (i.e. to prevent appointment bookings from Online Scheduler or Appointment Manager.)
  • DMS Department appears as an option for Reynolds & Reynolds and PBS dealerships if the DMS department options are configured in Configuration. It defaults to the option selected with the original appointment, if any, otherwise the default for the selected advisor's service department is pre-selected. Any option can be selected regardless of the selected services or advisor to ensure the RO is correctly assigned in the DMS.
